It wasn't bad by any stretch compared to most other television. It's just that this show had started to feel historically good, so to rely on a cliffhanger (a fairly obvious one) to the extent they did was disappointing. As just another episode, it would have been fine. But to leave us with that for the next 9 months didn't meet my expectation for what they've been doing so far.

So I had an argument with a co-worker today over who is more likable, Jimmy or Chuck. Obviously, I said Jimmy, but then he starts going on about how Chuck has done nothing "illegal" as if that is the standard for whether someone is a good person or not. I feel like hes the only person that watches this show that feels that way.

I think it's safe to assume he's been keeping eyes on the Salamancas and has noticed Mike watching them too.

Your friend is an idiot who's missed the entire point of the show as outlined by Mike in S1E09.numbers wrote:So I had an argument with a co-worker today over who is more likable, Jimmy or Chuck. I feel bad for Chuck and I even see his point of view, but it's hard to support the way he treated his brother

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I just finished season 2. My only complaint was the limited interaction between Jimmy and Mike. This show is so well done. The execution is perfect.

The two actors actually really don't like each other in real life which has influenced the script.CopperTom wrote:I just finished season 2. My only complaint was the limited interaction between Jimmy and Mike. This show is so well done. The execution is perfect.

Re: TV: Better Call Saul
That actually did happen in The Good Wife. The two lead actresses really hated each other, to the point where they straight-up stopped sharing scenes together after a couple seasons. When they finally did have to be in the same scene after several seasons of "just missing each other", they were shot separately and hilariously CGI'd together.

I had a monologue the other day at lunch about how great this show has turned out compared to my initial fears. The fact that they aren't relying too much on previous world building done in Breaking Bad and retaining drama for a character/characters that we know end up at Point B in the future just goes to show how proficient people writing and producing the show are.

As long as I keep my posts to more than 140 characters, I should be able to stave off this chud, interrupted schtickwease wrote:Did Chud tweet this?Mecca wrote:I had a monologue the other day at lunch about how great this show has turned out compared to my initial fears.
