Didn't expect to like it too much, buuuuut the film really blew past my expectations. Felt like a huge step up from the last few films.

the first 30 minutes or so of the first one were excellent, then it got a bit messy
I liked some of the USO origin stuff. But that's about it. And what a waste of a dynamic villain.

This movie had no balls. BvS has officially ruined most other superhero movies for me.

I just saw BvS finally and posted some thoughts in that thread. But that was not a good movie, nor did it have anything approaching balls. All it had was a lot of pointless brooding, desaturized colors, people standing still during big explosions, and indestructible people flying at each other in straight lines. I can't imagine holding that thing up as an exemplar of anything positive.

just got in from this. Not alot of fat on this flick. Pacing is pretty good, tons of action. The fight between

Cap and IM at the end was great. I was def thinking one was going to kill the other. Winter Soldier getting his arm blown off was intense.
I thought Ant Man and Spidey provided some great comic relief. No problems with that.

The great twist of

finding out Winter Soldier killed Tony's parents
was fantastic. I didn't even see it coming.

I didn't think the big reveal at the end was supposed to be a shocking twist, because like... we already had that information, right? Didn't they already tell us that in Winter Soldier? I'm pretty sure they did.

It resonated on an emotional level which is the main point.
