10th album rumors and speculation

When Better Days leaked I loved it at first. I think I just listened to it too much, hence my apathy about it now. Or, if a song is really good shouldn't it withstand "over listening?"

you'll burn out on anything after a while. If it is really good though, you'll remember why you love it even if you don't feel it. Certain songs like RVM or Even Flow and Given to Fly I feel like I've played out over the years. I rarely seek them out and will often skip them. But they're still excellent songs.

Sometimes after you've burned out a song and let a few years go by, you can rediscover that tune. If that happens it's a great song. Sounds crazy but I've recently rediscovered even flow - the real slower version. Think it's the original single.

I actually got to hear the first half of "Mind Your Manners" in a dream last night.

It was much better than expected. A little bit of Got Some, a little bit of Green Disease but more focused and better than both.
