True story: you can't listen to your record player in your car, and cd's sound better than stupid mp3s on my phone or an iPod.

tonearm counterweight issue?
Could be. It's one of those turntable/CD player/cassette deck in one things from Target or what not that my mother-in-law bought me a few years ago. I have no idea how to adjust anything on it.

You can play lossless files on an iPod or most phones too, I've been doing it for years.

Yeah you can't adjust anything on those things. The counterweight on another turntable will help keep the tone arm down without bouncing

in case you don't bother with the pj side of this forum, no code ($25) and yield ($20) reissue pre-orders are up on the pj.com shop site, along with the assorted singles from the time ($9).

assuming said albums will be in stores eventually? they're typically a little cheaper, and without the shipping

no indication given that they WON'T be at retail. i'd think it'd be pretty safe to bet you can wait for them to pop up in shops.

Got out bid again for In Rainbows so softened the blow by picking up:

Neil Young - Comes A Time
REM - Lifes Rich Pagent
Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible
Underworld - Barbara, Barbara We Face a Shining Future.

It worked I'm happy for now...............

It's a bad time to try and win RH albums in eBay. Let the hype of the new album die down a little and you'll have better luck

Apparently they're just old Parlophone pressings in Capitol sleeves (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
