Then move things around but still open with Of the Girl or Light Years and put Sad or Insignificance next if you need a harder song. I agree NAIS is a bad second song...I honestly think its kind of boring - the verses are good, but the choruses kind of get boring and then they go on forever. Light Years maybe is too repetitive too? Then open with Of the Girl I dont know. Just get rid of Breakerfall, God's Dice, and Evacuation

I know its not cool on RM to diss Binaural, but the final product is the reason why it's not my favorite PJ album. Had they stuck more with the Blake mixes, and included some of those amazing b-sides, especially In the Moonlight, Fatal, and Sad, it could be my favorite PJ album. As it is, it's up there, consistently top 4, but had we even got the original tracklisting with the BOB mixes, it may be my favorite. There is really no reason "Soon Forget" makes the album and "Fatal" doesn't.

I love the way Binaural's fast songs sound. The way all the individual instruments rumble along together, still all occupying their own space in the song with plenty of room to breathe so that every little flourish can easily be heard when paying attention, there's so much to discover every time I listen to fast Binaural songs.

I guess I just don't get that song. I just hear "EVACUAAAAATIONNNNN" really shrill. Doesn't leave much of an impression.

I get your disagreements. I've never been able to fully get on board with Insignificance for some reason. I like it, I just don't love it. It would get 3.5 or 4 stars from me. Gods' Dice is a cool song and I like it a lot, but it isn't a great song. And almost every song above it is great.

You're probably right. I never really think of it among my favorites on the album, but I always love it when it comes on.

My top five is pretty rock solid, but the rest is maneuverable depending on my mood.
