I thought shooting there was far too costly and the weather kept setting them back so they moved all studios for all of teh Skellig stuff. No?
Yeah theyve recreated parts of Skellig at Pinewood and also recreated loads of the stone beehive huts on a headland called Ceann Sibil on the kerry coast. They've also built a set up in Donegal but havent seen any pics of that yet. this is the one in kerry (skellig itself is off the kerry coast so makes sense theyd go for similar landscape i guess)
Lads. They're building the Falcon up in Donegal. My pal lives across the water from the set. It's closed off for miles around. Only residents have passes to get in.
The fuckin falcon is two hours drive away. Verge of tears.
I'll post more once it's finished. While area been put into lockdown with wifi blockers and no fly zones for drones up to helicopters.
We now KNOW that Kylo turns up on Ach-to. Hamill arrived in Belfast short while ago with Adam driver and Daisy Ridley and Carrie Fisher apparently but no pics of her.
Ridley and Driver are all embarrassed and Hamill is literally the embarrassing uncle. Cool pics
Actually Driver being here also confirms that Kylo turns up at Lukes island. So that theory about him and Luke and Rey having a fight isn't all that far out
