My wife and I watch America's Funniest Home Videos all the time.

The episode that preceded the pitiful live segment just proved to me that anyone who tries to sell that "it's actually gotten better! almost as good as it used to be!" thing is completely full of shit.

Yeah, he was a good host. Alfonso doesn't have a distinct personality, he just tries to do everything.E.H. Ruddock wrote:We watch it too, but i miss Bergeron.Simple Torture wrote:My wife and I watch America's Funniest Home Videos all the time.

Have you noticed they've upped the number of videos that include bleeped-out curse words since they changed hosts?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Basically. There are a lot more "prank" videos now. But people still submit the classics--i.e., toddlers who cover themselves in make-up, cats who break things, and rednecks who fall off roofs.tragabigzanda wrote:What even constitutes a Funniest Home Video in the YouTube era? It's on Hulu. I watched it from Swedish Netflix via proxy.durdencommatyler wrote:Where did you watch this?contamination wrote:The Bridge, season 1 (the original swedish/danish version). It was better than True Detective.

3 seasons in to The Sopranos and, while I'm really enjoying it, I wish it would focus a little less on the death of elderly relatives.

I thought the show slowly started going downhill after Season 3.

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
Disagreed completely, I think it got better as it went along, and I think that much is clear after the show stopped airing and public expectations stopped playing into how episodes were received. But the whole show is stellar, top to bottom.bada wrote:I thought the show slowly started going downhill after Season 3.
