These aren't bad, but particularly the fact that no one pointed out to Ross that New York, DC, and Sarcovia would all have been immeasurably worse had the Avengers not been involved.

Yeah. It was a Captain America story. If it had been sold as an Avengers movie it would have felt weirdly lopsided.
