Stupid question: what would happen if I stuck that Stuxnut usb into my macbook? Would it just start causing haywire? Casting shows to my Chromecast without my permission, posting pocket pics to Instagram? Or something more sinister?
It would download windows 10 onto it.

From my recollection, Stuxnet targeted specific hardware and its related software/firmware that operated nuclear centrifuges. It doesn't do anything unless it finds a specific configuration. It may hop across your network, but not do anything... unless you're operating a particular set of centrifuges. And I think it only works on Windows.
