I'd go with Ingram over Simmons. I don't know what kind of value Simmons has in todays NBA.

Trade for Butler. Bulls could take Dunn at 3. Ainge would have to offer more though. Probably a lot more since the Bulls have been kissing Jimmy's ass after initially saying they would listen to offers.bada wrote:AInge will try to trade #3. Probably wont find a taker.

The raptors are trash. No interior D. How small little boys like Steph and kyrie just get to walk slow motion to the rim completely ignored is really jarring to watch.

I think the Pelicans would take him. Not sure if the Suns or Celtics would have any interest at 3 and 4.

Maybe the Wolves. They need perimeter shooting or a stretch 4.verb_to_trust wrote:I think the Pelicans would take him. Not sure if the Suns or Celtics would have any interest at 3 and 4.

you dont see similarities with the brow? i think ingram needs to polish his shot a bit more but i think he will have a decent career (im not saying he will put up brow like numbers but they are similar in stature)verb_to_trust wrote:Simmons can't shoot and Ingram doesn't have the body.bada wrote:I'd go with Ingram over Simmons. So because the Warriors lose game one and the Cavs blow out the Raptors in game one (as expected), all of the sudden the "experts" are all now picking Cleveland as the favorite to win it all. Man I hate sports media.

It's certainly becoming more realistic. All those bum three point shooters on the cavs have become irrationally confident due to their Lebron night light/binky blanket. I bet they'd be favored if the thunder made it.

Davis could defend right away though. I think durant is a better comparison in that he was physically weak coming out of college too.Peeps wrote:you dont see similarities with the brow? i think ingram needs to polish his shot a bit more but i think he will have a decent career (im not saying he will put up brow like numbers but they are similar in stature)verb_to_trust wrote:Simmons can't shoot and Ingram doesn't have the body.bada wrote:I'd go with Ingram over Simmons. Re: NBA Thread
As much as I want the Thunder to win that was one game. They're clearly the best team the Warriors have faced in the last two playoffs and can maybe put a scare in them. If everything breaks right they could potentially win but I still think that's a long shot.E.H. Typical overreaction.
The Cavs look like they can make it a really good series against either team from the West. I'm not saying they'd actually win, but it doesn't seem like it'd be a stunning upset if they did at this point.

Yeah I'd go with a poor mans Durant over a poor mans Lamar Odem. I haven't seen anything to suggest Simmons jumper is broken so maybe his shooting woes are overblown and he can improve but the guy has no motor. Any team that takes him will have to hope he was just bored in College. He seems to be one of those dudes that is good at basketball but isn't all that into it.

Mouth breathing Neanderthal Green knees Adams in the gut/junk on a layup then screams at him. Surprised he didn't get a foul call out of it...
