Mike laid some nice work on that track too. Shocked it didnt make bayleaf, Its always been one of my favorite stone tunes. That originally came out on Live from nowhere? That homeless benefit cd that a pj fan put together around 2005

The closest you will get to high quality version of this song is the 'Live from nowhere...' release which features Mike Mccready as well. I prefer the original version but that version is great too. "I wanna go more I wanna go more"

Here is a Souncloud stream:
https://soundcloud.com/craveonline/ston ... e-mccready

Also I have another Stone Gossard song from Bayleaf called "Can't Stop" It was a Bonus Track on the Japanese version.
I have a Flac file but not sure the best way to share.

You must not have heard Mike's score for this:

In fact, he'd probably just shit his pants and cry about it.

You might want to compare your 3 year old cousin to Mike instead.
Again this is my predicament. Stone seems to have great creative influences but live he is less than impressive.
Mmmmm... I have a lot of friends who are not PJ fans, but I always try to show some songs and stuff, especially live, and most of them are blinded by Mike´s skills. ¨Wow, what a guitar player¨¨He is great¨, and that kind of things.

And is funny how the only ones that notice Stone´s work are fellow musicians.

I am a guitarist, and always loved Stone´s style. I´m not a fan of Mike at all. I don´t like the way he just speed up songs that doesn´t need to be played that fast (GTF, SOLAT, Brain of JFK...), but admire the solos he has created in most of the songs.

Stone is simple and accurate at the same time. He is not a solo player, he is a rythm guitar player and, contrary to most people could think, rythm guitar is not that easy to perform.

On the other hand, without Stone´s music there would be no Pearl Jam, No Ten, No Versus, and not a lot of excellent riffs (DTE, In Hiding, for example).
