Well, I was wrong. The lizards are a godsend.
LISA
But isn't that a bit short-sighted? What happens when we're overrun by lizards?
SKINNER
No problem. We simply unleash wave after wave of Chinese needle snakes. They'll wipe out the lizards.
LISA
But aren't the snakes even worse?
SKINNER
Yes, but we're prepared for that. We've lined up a fabulous type of gorilla that thrives on snake meat.
LISA
But then we're stuck with gorillas!
SKINNER
No, that's the beautiful part. When wintertime rolls around, the gorillas simply freeze to death.

do we know that the guy they showed actually became white king though?

I especially appreciate that the ep had a very LOST-like time-travelly twist in it, too. with the doordurdencommatyler wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:I noticed he was directing this one and got excited.lowlight79 wrote:Jack Bender did all the great LOST episodes. His GOT debut was up there boy![]()

How did theon and Yara steal so many ships? If she had that many people loyal to her why didn't she win the kingsmoot?

i'm assuming it was just the ironborn nobility at the kingsmoot, and any one of those cats has a large fleet consisting of hundreds of sailors at their disposal. so i guess yara just had her men hijack the best ships, or maybe her fleet was already comprised of the best ships.tommymtcom wrote:How did theon and Yara steal so many ships? Different goals, different stories, chum. Let's see if GoT goes full time travel or not before we start picking on LOST for the 10,000th time.tragabigzanda wrote:This was executed 1000x better than Lost. The Argonaut wrote:I especially appreciate that the ep had a very LOST-like time-travelly twist in it, too. with the doordurdencommatyler wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:I noticed he was directing this one and got excited.lowlight79 wrote:Jack Bender did all the great LOST episodes. Re: HBO: Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire)
forgive me if this has been covered in the thread already but there is just a lot of goddamn information to process with this show for us non book readers....
With Bran Stark and his visions/being able to go back in time and communicate ( i sense this is getting stronger ) Did he cause hodor's death? What happened first? I feel like this is a back to the future thing, or a "chicken or the egg" thing.
Did Bran alter the reality of Hodor
Im fucking confused.

this is why the concept of time and time travel confuse me.Strat wrote:forgive me if this has been covered in the thread already but there is just a lot of goddamn information to process with this show for us non book readers....

Re: HBO: Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire)
This is single timeline time travel. So anything that Bran goes back and changes, we've already seen the effects of. This also implies that everything in this world is predestined, since past present and future exist simultaneously.
