Relaunches are a better excuse to quit than to start reading.

PHENOMENAL books! I really wish this was turned into a tv show a few years back.

There was work on a movie but Joe Hill said those rights reverted and right now it's just a TV show that's in dev hell. I think it could be doable on a network like HBO or AMC.

The only thing I didn't like about the books was the ending where
Spoiler: show
Bode is brought back to life. It wasn't until after I listened to the audiobook adaptation (which was really well done) that it was explained. I didn't notice the animal key being used, I just saw bird, frame, frame, frame, Bode's alive.
So confusing.

Again, the audiobook was really well done.
Audio drama[edit]

All six books of Locke & Key were adapted as a 13-hour audio drama released on 5 October 2015. Produced by AudioComics for Audible Studios and directed by William Dufris, the work features the voices of Tatiana Maslany, Haley Joel Osment, Kate Mulgrew, with appearances by Hill, Rodríguez, and Stephen King in addition to almost 50 voice-over actors[59] and an original score by Peter Van Riet. The work received critical praise, and in 2016 was nominated for four Audie Awards from the Audiobook Publisher's Association of America, including "Best Original Work" and "Excellence in Production."
Some parts were expanded for it and the narration really did help clear some things that I wasn't sure about up.

But I'm sure it helped that I read a book and then listened to the audiobook before moving on to the next.

Yep. The Flash and the speed force are always at the center of the big continuity shifts. If I understood the comic Dr Manhatten changed the DCU for some reason. Whether he's the bad guy in the traditional sense I don't know.

I just looked at the DC solicitations for June and July and don't see a number 2. Must have to follow the other Rebirth one shots.
