Well, it tells you he's
Spoiler: show
playing Jyn Erso's father. But yeah, nothing else beyond that.
I also thought I read somewhere that he was
Spoiler: show
Scientist or something and that he had a hand in helping the Empire design the Death Star. People compared him to a scientist working on The Manhattan Project.
But I can't seem to find a link that addresses that now. So either that's made up or it's been proven inaccurate or I dreamed it or it's something Dime said once without posting a link and I have no idea where it came from.

It would be awesome if he was playing Hannibal, working for the dark side. "FN-3457, you are scheduled to see Dr. Hannibal after your shift". "Crap".

I didn't post that but that is a theory that he may have had a hand in all of it.

But I'm not crazy? There is a theory/rumor out there about this? That makes me feel better.

There is.

Did you see the leaked pics from the rogue one character guide book or whatever it was? Your theory may have been confirmed there. But it's definitely a big theory at least, out there.

I did not. But I'm glad it's really a thing. I was starting to feel like I was losing my mind.

It leaked. Names photos and profiles of all the characters in the film. Wasn't supposed to be released until January. Someone got fired for releasing it early. Or did they? Meh.

It is a theory though. But it'll only be a throwaway line of exposition. He's not featured to any great length in the film other than his role as yanno. His role.

Thinking about it is say he has made a brutal war movie with Vader being all kick ass n graphic battle scenes and they're telling him to reign it in and make it safe. That's a shame if that's the case.

"Rogue One’ has fallen short of what J.J. Abrams did with ‘Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens.’ So Disney has ordered reshoots.”

I wouldn't put too much stock in it. Just sounds like bullshit rumor mill stuff to me. All that hoopla over the Suicide Squad reshoots turned out to be misleading nonsense.

Yep.

Also, it's from the fucking Post. Which is far more tabloid than newspaper. Nothing to see here.

aren't reshoots somewhat normal? i mean, i guess ideally they wouldn't be needed, but it's not uncommon, right?

They are very, very common and normal.
