Yeah, it has some problems, yeah theres a lot of characters with not enough time to shine...

I thought it was a perfect continuation to the story theyve been telling over the last few movies.
Spoiler: show
My only real complaints, is that the Horsemen were SO weak. Angle gets knocked out right away, Psylocke gets knocked out pretty quick, Storm only fights for a few mins, then hides out the rest of the fight till she switches sides. Magneto tries to destroy the world but he too switches sides. So two of his henchmen switch sides? Why not just have Magneto off in seclusion refusing to save the world, and show up at the end fight? And... they did such a nice drawn out set up to Jean beating Apocalypse, but it took Storms lightning bolt to stop him from escaping? Storm, should have switched sides first, and then finally Jean shows up to stop him.
Spoiler: show
I think a big problem is the big baddie himself. He is so stupendously powerful he can't even take part in the big fight at all. Oh, here comes the big climactic fight scene? Luckily, the plot requires the badguy to basically lie down and take a nap right now.

for sure, when Xaviers "hide out" was revealed, Apocalypse should have grown to eye level, not simple walk a few steps foward. I didnt mind that he simple took everyones punches, but he should have gotten some sort of offense in?

his 5 second fight with Quicksilver was AWESOME! though. For 4 seconds youre like, holy shit Quicksilver! till Apocalypse's eyes focus, then youre like, oh shit, not Quicksilver!

It definitely starts slow, they could have definitely handled Magneto better (personally id have had him not even become a horsemen, just have him being a recluse / down with the world)

Ok I've officially given up on comic book films. They're getting worse and worse. X men apocalypse is just out right awful. I turned it off with 20 minutes to go.

Civil War is more another episode of a serial series than a movie of its own.

Did anyone catch the scene for second where it looked like Apocalypse was giving to Xavier from behind? It was a split second in the dream sequence, but my whole theater was talking about it.

Your theater would talk about that.

I am trying to serialize my eye rolling, not unlike a TV show.
