For what it's worth (and I really mean for this comment to stand apart from this particular issue) I don't think Star Wars should be graphic. It's supposed to be a bridge series between adults and kids.dimejinky99 wrote:Thinking about it is say he has made a brutal war movie with Vader being all kick ass n graphic battle scenes and they're telling him to reign it in and make it safe. That's a shame if that's the case.

Yep.LoathedVermin72 wrote:They are very, very common and normal.darth_vedder wrote:aren't reshoots somewhat normal? i mean, i guess ideally they wouldn't be needed, but it's not uncommon, right?
Pretty much every major film does them. Reshoots are so normal in fact that the cost of doing them is usually built into the film's budget.

Re: Star Wars: Rogue One
There are so many possible stories in the Star Wars universe. I have no problem with some of those stories being meant just for kids. Just as I don't mind some being meant just for adults. Just as I don't mind some of them bridging between adults and kids. Serve the story first. Tell the story you want to tell and let all that other stuff shake out in the wash.stip wrote:For what it's worth (and I really mean for this comment to stand apart from this particular issue) I don't think Star Wars should be graphic. In other words, can't it be both?

No matter what else we disagree on, this sentiment here, and the frustration therein, will always be the tether that keeps you and I bound.LoathedVermin72 wrote:THAT'S NOT MY STAR WARS JOEYdurdencommatyler wrote:There are so many possible stories in the Star Wars universe. You totally freaked out over that.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I wouldn't put too much stock in it. Just sounds like bullshit rumor mill stuff to me. All that hoopla over the Suicide Squad reshoots turned out to be misleading nonsense.
