I haven't seen your #2 or #3. I'll have to check those out. I have this weird thing with Hitchcock movies. I have to hear about one specifically several times in a row from various sources coincidentally before I watch the movie. That's why I've seen so few of them. Re: Top 25 Favorite Movies
The Trouble with Harry is his sleeper masterpiece. It's so quietly thoughtful and profound. No one seems to talk about it (Maybe because it's ostensibly a light comedy?). But I think it's a major work of art.durdencommatyler wrote:I haven't seen your #2 or #3. I'll have to check those out. I have this weird thing with Hitchcock movies. Re: Top 25 Favorite Movies
For some reason, ranking films is way more difficult for me than any other art: music, TV, painters, etc.

Probably fair to assume a level of recency bias with that one. We'll have to see how it ages and settles. But I'm pretty confident it'll remain in the top 25. And I really can't imagine it'll fall out of the top 10. But who knows!

Re: Top 25 Favorite Movies
I fucking loved that movie so much, though. I have no issues with where it's slotted right now. I just wonder how it'll age or hold up to repeated viewings.
