Beef. Ice cream. Wine. Pastries. Empanadas. Uhhh... women. Tango. Being mad about the Falklands.

Overall, I prefer New Your style. But, sometimes there's nothing better in the world than a Giordano's deep dish pie.

The only deep dish I've had is from Uno's, at a chain restaurant in MA. They're awful no matter what they make, around here. I'd like to try a good one.

Deep dish is better in general, but I've never tried one of those really deep Chicago ones.

God, we love it. We'll even have a couple of pies shipped to us a couple of times a year. Smoothest, silkiest cheese ever.

Spike is right. It's kind of bland and watery. I'll take Pequod's over it any day.

A younger friend of mine was in Chicago recently. I sent him to Lou Malnati's based on some food channel show I watched while high. His review was glowing and I want some.

We have a local deep dish joint called Pizzapapalis that is incredible.

But in reality NY Style and Chicago Style entirely different things. Sitting down for a dinner where you have no intention of doing anything but relaxing on the couch afterwards? Chicago style

Having a couple slices at an event or walking around town? New York all the way.

And i HATE the attempts at regionalization of every damned pizza difference. There is no such thing as Detroit Style. I dont care if you're using old oil pans to make them. Its just a square fucking pizza.
