You might be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't agree that the song has a Beatles quality about it, or a Beatles aesthetic. I think it certainly does. I talk issue with the notion that it's a Beatles ripoff. What song (or which songs) is is ripping off exactly?

I don't think it's particularly Beatles-esque at all.

It's got a kind of soft-focus 60s pop vibe about it, but there's nothing I could specifically relate to any Beatles song (or even sound) about it.
