Still think hes under Fox control? I'm pretty sure, there was a tv show attatched to him at some point from FX. Then it was rumored to be Hellfire Club. Now Legion is green lit for production. I could be totally wrong (or the report could have been even). Considering no one really knows whats whos besides the lawyers and maybe 3 or 4 execs at this point.bada wrote:doone wrote:Not that it matters but Captain Britain is not a mutant. Correct. He gets his powers from magic. His sister is a mutant. Psylocke.

i think brian braddock is probably co-owned by both studios much like quicksilver/scarlet witch
While technically associated with one group they are more so another group (the twins cases while mutants they are more known as avengers, braddock while known to hang out with mutants he technically along with something else)

I read about them doing Legion and I'm scared fx will ruin the character. His story in X-Men Legacy is an absolute favourite of mine.MadTIGERmaN wrote:Still think hes under Fox control? from what Ive read about the Legion TV show, its going to have nothing to do with the X-men universe? and not even mention him being Xaviers kid. But they signed up a few good actors for it so :/ well see

Re: X-men : Movies (and all other Mutant related things)
Alright, I saw Apocalypse last night. I'm really bothered by the end with Professor X and Magneto.
Professor X: Even though you murdered thousands in Cairo, Sydney, and San Francisco, I think you feel bad, so will you please be an X-man?
Magneto: No. I'm gonna leave, and do my own thing. I don't think I'll murder anyone else.
Professor X: Cool. Be well, my friend.

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

It's basically how every X-Men movie ends, but the last one ended in a failed Presidential assassination (were their others killed? I can't remember). In this one, Magneto straight up murdered everyone in Cairo and in all those buildings he dissolved.@SkitchP wrote:B wrote:Alright, I saw Apocalypse last night. We didn't actually see anyone get murdered. There was a lot of destruction, but we didn't see any people. Just buildings and cars. It was strange.B wrote:It's basically how every X-Men movie ends, but the last one ended in a failed Presidential assassination (were their others killed? I can't remember). and he was trying to kill Trask, a bad bad dude, not the President?
and in First Class, he was trying to kill the Navy, after they fired at him?
and in X-1 he was trying to make humans into mutants? he didnt know it would kill them?
and in X-2 he only really killed a couple of prison guards?
and X-3, sure he talked Jean into cutting loose, but it was all in the name of stopping the cure?
hes really just misunderstood? isnt he?

I mean it's Fox so I'm sure they're all getting paid in literal bags of money. The first wave of Marvel Studios movies were a bit more impressive in that they were apparently really cheap when it came to the cast. ScarJo's contract was infamously paltry at the time.

Meh. Fassbender and JLaw weren't household names when they signed their 3 movie deals. Now Anthony Hopkins in the Transformers Universe is really something.

Apocalypse was manipulating his emotions, but he wasn't controlling him. That's the whole reason he kidnapped Professor X. He lacked the ability to control minds.MadTIGERmaN wrote:Come on guys, he was under Apocalypses control? wasnt he?

Re: X-men : Movies (and all other Mutant related things)
Fuckin' mutants. Apocalypse could have all the money, prestige, and pussy he wants until the end of infinity, but NOOOOOO, I have to destroy the world. I have to rule everything.
I'd find it really tough to be ethical with a mutant power, but I'm sure I could be happy without killing half the world. I mean, c'mon! Magneto can just make all the gold bars he wants. Storm could have a beach home that never floods. At some point, can't you just be happy with a lot of stuff, even if it isn't all the stuff?
