I definitely felt that way in the third period in game 4 right up until Pittsburgh got that third goal...from 10:00 on at least (maybe even earlier) I just sat there thinking "Pittsburgh has no interest in trying to get another goal, they just want to sit on this and win." San Jose was just so offensively inept (or unlucky or both) they could never tie it, and as soon as Pittsburgh got their one chance, they buried it to put the game away.Peeps wrote:id almost agree but it seems pitt has the habit of playing not to lose rather than win.
they are saying all the right things, we have to keep our foot on the gas, we have to be able to close them out, get to our game etc...
i am actually shocked that SJ has never held a lead for a second in this series

I don't know much about the market, but it's not a bad gamble (heh) to take for the NHL, as far as I'm concerned. They'll be the first major professional league to try it.Peeps wrote:how in the hell is vegas going to sustain a team?
lots of people live there and they already "sold" season tickets to dip the toe on interest. There used to be a minor league team there called the Wranglers, but they folded because the owners tried to make the ice rink on like the roof of a casino as a gimmick that fell through and so did their lease. Plus, they'll be able to fill seats with giveaways from casinosPeeps wrote:how in the hell is vegas going to sustain a team?
