US Soccer needs a change in leadership, approach, and development. Basically burn it down and start over again.

Yeah they need someone new to come in and coach them up on keeping the ball out of the middle on defense, passing it up the field, and kicking it in towards the goal on offense. It's all pretty complicated.

It actually is very complicated. There are wonderful books written on the evolution of soccer and the historical as well as cultural dynamics that played a part in its growth from a simple game of people running and kicking each other and into a game with a defense, a midfield, and a selection of forwards that you see working together today. All the different aspects of soccer you see today came from so many parts of the world.

I haven't but it sounds like something I'd enjoy. Inverting the pyramid: The history of football tactics is a awesome read too. Basically anything on the history of Dutch football and Johan Cruyff will be great. Cruyff was a absolute boss.

No. He's scored against Bayern, Man City, Spain, Germany. It's not the opposition. He gets chances because he knows how to move and create space in the box, he just can't finish at the clip of a good striker. He's a bit heavy footed and lacks elite explosion.

I thought the same thing. She was awful. She looked like someone who was picked out of a audience. She provided no insight or knowledge. She exhibited zero preparedness. I'm pretty sure she hasn't watched any of the players to prepare because you know none play for 'merica.

Kane is the only dude on the squad that can whip in a corner but he's also the best header of the ball on the team - awful combo.

Not sure about the heavy Spurs lineup either. So far not so good. They need an actual midfield and not Wayne Rooney lumbering around. The only dude I've seen accomplish what Rooney is trying was Pirlo and yeah Rooney isn't even in the same galaxy - few are.
