Supposedly the first headliner of Pinkpop. But this rumor exists every year.
http://www.festivalinfo.nl/news/38040/J ... kpop_2017/
Spoiler: show Jan Smeets in an interview with L1 announced that Pearl Jam is fixed for Pinkpop 2017. He hopes to continue on the Foo Fighters and Radiohead as big names for next year.
Pearl Jam had actually already have to play this edition at Pinkpop . Smeets : " It was around , but what happened in Paris , the family Pearl Jam decided to stay in America."
Pinkpop 2017 will take place from 3 / m June 5th. This is again the traditional Whitsun .
Smeets is delighted how Pinkpop 2016 has expired. There are also no mention major incidents . No storms , no headliner which cancels and so no big stress for Jan Smeets .
Finally, says Jan Smeets too are engaged in the fiftieth edition of Pinkpop, which should take place in 2019 . He dreams of an edition with Adele and Neil Young on the poster .
And shutting down Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. This was mentioned by a Red Wings announcer.

These were the rumored 2016 Europe shows that were nixed after the Paris attacks. Maybe something similar in 2017?

I have heard vague rumblings of an Australian tour in early 2017, February-March I guess (like 1995, 1998 and 2003).

I'd jump on the Australian joke bandwagon, but I totally struck out in PJ chat yesterday.

I feel like I let the whole board down. It was the perfect opportunity to remind those upside-down freaks that they live in a huge abandoned prison colony, and I muffed it.

I hope to be living back in Sydney by then.
And I'll still go to a Newie show.

I lied and am back. Ride Festival was so great. They can keep touring. Though i would rather them put out a great new record and tour on that.
