She already has, it's called the Senate. Democrats would be mindful not to jeopardize any power they may have in that chamber.
i know she's a Senator. I meant POTUS
She's too liberal

Seriously. If she's the VEEP then it will be Republican Charlie Baker that names her interim Senate replacement until a special election is had.

Surely all the GOP senators who are holding up a Supreme Court nomination would wait until after the special election was held before passing any laws? You know, will of the people yada yada yada

I don't think she'll get to be VP.
She outshines Clinton on too many levels. Be great if she was a nominee though. Apparently her Harvard law degree or whatever it is, turns middle America off her. Bollox to that. Hilary Clinton just got a nomination. This is just me listening to talk radio here but we have Trump visiting here next week and the whole fucking country wants to turn up at the airport and hurt him.

'He was here 2 years ago and our govt literally rolled a red carpet out. Now they're calling him racist and dangerous. More fool us trusting them.

the current tally of groups that Trump openly hates at this point is:
-Hispanics
-Americans of Mexican descent
-Muslims
-Women
-Veterans
-Judges that imprison drug dealers
-Vendors seeking payment for services rendered
-Journalists

that's a lot of pogroms all at once

how will he pay for that? he's planning to cut taxes

it doesn't add up

:shake:
While steadfastly refusing to budge on the second amendment, a Trump administration will do all it can to gut the first amendment.

The timing of the Better Way plan seems to indicate a realization among Republican leaders that, no matter who wins the presidency, they're fucked.

To get myself through this Kang and Kodos election, I'm going to try making as many Simpsons references as possible.

Except the Republican Party swelled by appealing to some surprisingly disparate groups, and "following the party line" when one of their presidents went against some of those groups is exactly what started this fracturing in the first place. Just as they managed to miss a chance at a quickly growing, generally religious subgroup by being forced to appease their existing anti-immigrant forces.

I think he's right, in that when people look at whatever the Republican Party is 5 years from now, they will point to the moment when the establishment decided that betraying key aspects of their identity was less alarming than not having a showing at an election, and bent knee.
