I think it's safe to say you just don't like fat people and Farley's charm just eludes you. It's not a big deal, though. I'm sure you like a comedian or two that I might think is terrible. Maybe??@SkitchP wrote:doug rr wrote:farley was awesome..shut up skitch..

The passion with which you display contempt for a dead comedian is remarkable. I was! And he was just caricature of how people view fat people anyways and was totally exploiting an unfunny cliche.

I actually hated him more when I was fat. I imagine much in the same way a black guy must hate Madea movies.

Re: What movies are you watching?
That actually makes good sense to me (even though I can't relate to being fat). I could see how his character would grate on someone who has been mocked with similar behavior, or even just sick of stereotypical and unoriginal fat jokes made into movie heroes. I disagree that Chris Farley was talentless, but at lest I understand where you're coming from. If nothing else, he made being fat kind of cool (or at least took the pre-social media, societal obesity taboo and turned into something positive--making people laugh and love him).@SkitchP wrote:a rabbit & a fox wrote:How long has this been on your chest??

He just did what Belushi did and made it worse. Which really was difficult because Belushi wasn't that great either.

Jack Reacher is on the TV. Good movie. I appreciate the lengths to which the filmmakers have gone to make Tom Cruise appear towering.
