Yea, saw this and it's awful. I always sort of assumed he was a rich hippy (whose music in absolutely wonderful). Turns out he's just a broke musician with a family and a sick wife. Ugh, that industry devours a lot of good people...

Yeah, such a bummer. He also got hosed by that whole K Records ordeal about not getting paid for years I think
