I think it was Burt a few pages ago that said he doesn't like to read fan theories because they often end up being cooler than the show--I have a feeling this is going to be one of those instances, mostly due to time constraints: there are only 13-15 episodes of the series left, you can't really delay Jon much longer with something like this. The dead are comin'.
