When you say 3 RBs and 5 others from any of those skill positions... are we talking FBs as well as HBs?

FBs and HBs are both eligible to be picked for the RB spots. But after you fill up the required spots (3 QBs, 3 RBs, 4 WRs, 3 TEs), you have 5 spots that can be given to any other QBs, FBs, HBs, WRs, or TEs you'd like to have on your team.

(I hope that makes sense)

Yeah, but I wanted to keep the league a bit smaller for our first run through, and I wanted everyone to play everyone else twice without exceeding a 16 game schedule. The other option was trying to do 12 teams with 6 NFC and 6 AFC teams (and having the cross-conference opponents play each other only once), which would be cool, but would be a total nightmare in teams of trying to actually put an unbalanced schedule together.

An NFL Tournament on RM without Skitch & Mecca would be more egregious than one without the Steelers & Niners.

Sorry man. It filled up in a few minutes. If the schedule creating for an unbalanced schedule wasn't so ridiculously hard (or if someone knows a manageable way to make one), I'd add more teams in a heartbeat.

Open an account on whatifsports.com, go to SimMatchup and pick Dream Teams. Go to the NFL section and load your team in there. Then post your user name and team name in this thread.

If we can get up to 32 teams we can just use the schedule for the upcoming year I guess.

Or if we got to 28, and no one wanted to be the Texans, Ravens, Jaguars, or Panthers we could use the old Tecmo Super Bowl schedule.

Let me think about this a bit to see if there's an easier way to do it. I'd be fine with waiting a little bit if we get more people that want to play.

Yeah, let me know if you come up with something. I've used the old Big Ten regular season basketball schedule (from when they played all of their games on Thursdays and Fridays) for the last few baseball tournaments. I found a generic schedule generator for this one, but it only creates balanced schedules.
