Burn The Witch might be cool if Thom manages to sing it right.

When they started the song with the bass and bowed guitar rather than the strings, I thought "Ah, maybe this will help me appreciate the song more." But it had the opposite effect. The bones of that song are just super boring.
Yeah, I really like the song but I wouldn't argue it's a great song from a pure songwriting perspective. It lives on the intensity and atmosphere it manages to create on the studio version.

The shine wore off Burn the Witch pretty quick for me too. I start the album with Daydreaming now.

They played Creep tonight in Paris, it was last played in 2009. Tonight's show is up on dimeadozen. I downloaded Amsterdam 2 show and it sounds really good.

And I love this album, its in my top 5 fave RH albums. :)

Hopefully Pearl Jam hear this album and realise releasing Of the earth cold confession and let it ride on the next album wouldn't be a bad thing

I'm loving identikit decks dark present tense and glass eyes big time

Apart from the opening run of 5 songs, Radiohead are really mixing things up on this tour. Eight shows in and they've already played 51 different songs from across their whole career.

Creep, My Iron Lung, 2+2=5, Optimistic and No Surprises have all been played for the first time since 2009, and Just and Where I End And You Begin have been soundchecked :nice:

I REALLY hope they announce more dates soon.

Does anyone know if the Primavera Sound show tomorrow is being broadcast/webcast?...

^ Neat

If you have a spare hour or three, this tri-podcast takes a 'deep dive' into the whole Radiohead discography - part 3 is devoted entirely to AMSP. I don't always agree with what they say, and they don't always agree with each other, but like some of the best RM posters - they go to a lot of trouble to explain where they are coming from :nice:

got the white vinyl version on Friday. This album is amazing on wax. Hearing things that were imperceptible to me with the digital files.

I went to the record store first thing Friday morning to buy the vinyl, then spent the rest of the day slammed at work. Did they do anything special/play live at all during the all-day event?

This album does nothing for me. I'd rather listen to Pablo Honey.
