i saw that movie last year and it was really really good...two things:

1) wtf with that guy..i mean he is now married and have children and all, but he was really different from the child who was missing.

2) what about that family? its so strange.

Everything about that story seemed too bizarre to be true.

Most of the 30 for 30s are really good, probably the only thing that ESPN does right these days. I'm currently watching the "Broke" one about the idiot pro athletes who go broke.

My favorite of the 30 for 30 was "The Best That Never Was". I grew up in a Sooner household and remember my dad going apeshit when Marcus Dupree left OU.

I'll have to check that one out, I've seen its been on recently. A couple others that are excellent:

"The Fab Five": about Michigan's 1991 basketball recruiting class

"Elway to Marino": about the 1983 NFL draft. Some really cool back of the envelope stuff happened during this incredible draft.

I've yet to be disappointed by any of the 30 for 30 docs. The 2 Escobars (Columbian soccer) and Little Big Men (Kirkland WA, '82 LLWS) have been my favorite so far.

agreed. "the u" is pretty great, too. not sure if that's on there though.

the lady walked in the room while i was watching "broke" one night and was intrigued enough to watch it on her own when she had time. she's not a sports fan but was fascinated by the film.

i'll have to check out the bo one.
