I heard the director's cut is an extra half hour of Wonder Woman clicking file folders on her laptop.

visionary director Zack Snyder wrote:"When Batman v Superman came out, I was like, ‘Wow, okay, oof.' It did catch me off guard. I have had to, in my mind, make an adjustment. I do think that the tone of Justice League has changed because of what the fans have said."

I still have complete faith in him. It seems logical that JL would have a somewhat lighter tone anyway. As Deborah Snyder commented, they are moving from exploring the "weight" of being a hero to the "purpose" of being a hero.

Shoul di read that entire thing or just take that quote out of context and rail against the film?

The problem with batman vs superman was not the tone, it was how big of a mess it was.

Do you think we can build from here?

In fact, the best part of the movie was how dark it was. Or at least how psycho batman was. I would eat more of that shit up.

I'd like to think so, but its about as likely as Snyder building upon the mountain of shit he's created.

"Ultimate" cut-- 3 hours, R-rated-- is out now. Most people seem to be saying it's a huge improvement from the theatrical cut. I'll watch it at some point this weekend.

So I've been skipping around the extended version and took a look at a... a specific scene, to see if there was anything... extra

And there wasn't much of it, BUT, I'm pretty sure they set up this shot (which wasn't in the theatrical cut) to make it look like Supes was finger-banging Lois in the tub
Spoiler: show

Watched the new cut last night. Totally different film. A massive improvement. Scenes have been switched around and extended the whole Africa thing makes sense finally. Little tiny bits of dialogue added that flesh out the scene. It's better on every level. And it does feel shorter and less of a painful drag than the theatrical cut.

Really worth your time.
