So who do we bet will still be alive by the end of the final episode? Snow, Tyrion, Dany and Arya?

I also want to see a spin off involving Pod, the Hound, Bronn, Tormund and Brienne.

Are there any houses left in the north with any strength? Manderleys?
Seems like they are gonna get a rest while the rest of the storylines catch up.

Re: HBO: Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire)
He told the show runners all about the major plot points of all the major characters but the show diverged a lot from the books. You can't really say what is a show invention and what will happen in the books also. GRRM isn't involved with the show very much right now. I think the last time he wrote an episode was season 4.Strat wrote:Also, im just assuming Martin has given the okay on all of this stuff moving forward?

I'm on Book 4 now and I wish HBO would have diverged from the books a lot sooner.

The first book is great, then it's rapidly diminishing returns. They're ok though.E.H. Ruddock wrote:You're dumbMecca wrote:that's dumb; the first 3 books are greatBurtReynolds wrote:I'm on Book 4 now and I wish HBO would have diverged from the books a lot sooner.

Book 3 is mostly characters walking/riding and telling each other boring stories.Monkey_Driven wrote:And clothes/armor.lowlight79 wrote:BurtReynolds wrote:The first book is great, then it's rapidly diminishing returns.E.H. Book 3 is arguably the best in the series.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
