I'm ok with that if it's the more popular setup. Re: NFL All-Time Franchise Tournament: Teams are set!
I'm thinking one game a day, every day, for two weeks. Or should we space them out a bit to make it easier for people to keep up with stat tracking?
I'm down to kick off the season on Saturday. For those of you who haven't participated in one of these before, I tend to run the games super early in the morning (I'm nocturnal, so usually the results will all be posted by the time you guys get up). Because of this, you're gonna want to have your play calling in and your depth chart set by midnight. Any changes made after midnight can't be guaranteed.
Also, in terms of playcalling, it looks like it can be set the same way as the depth chart, so by default it goes to whatever it was the last time the owner of the team simmed a game. So whatever you want your play calling to be and however you want your depth chart to be for each game, just make sure to go to whatif and sim a game with each of them set to your desired standards beforehand and you'll be good to go (just ask if this doesn't make sense).
A heads up on the depth charts...it allows you to have the same guy listed in multiple spots on a depth chart, but if this happens it just won't play the guy at all, so make sure each slot in your depth chart features a different player.
Mecca, would you be ok with simming the games involving the Packers? We can either split simming the two Packers-Bills games or have someone else do it (I like to leave no doubt that things are on the up and up).

Right? I simmed games with both and gave up a lot less points with the '42 Bears. I don't know much about the '42 Bears, other than they only allowed 88 points all season long and 1.9 ypc.

I don't think we've heard from Skitch since he was going to give it a go for the first time after his vasectomy. I hope he didn't explode.

Whatif is finicky like that. The 2014 Bills Defense was such a beast cuz they got to the QB, but while they got sacks in the what if sim, they were beaten over the top, unlike the 2004 D who were just good all around, but they're the better what if DKaius wrote:Right? Wasn't the 1986 Bears defense also statistically superior to the 85 Bears?Kaius wrote:Right? I simmed games with both and gave up a lot less points with the '42 Bears. I don't know much about the '42 Bears, other than they only allowed 88 points all season long and 1.9 ypc.

Ok, so with kickoff set for Saturday, you guys have until midnight on Friday to make any last second roster changes. Once we kickoff the season, rosters can't be changed.
And like I said earlier, make sure your depth chart and playcalling are set on whatif for how you want them in your first week matchups.
