It's Sansa. It's gonna be freaking Sansa.

*Jon and Arya have both seen/done some crazy shit. Sansa has grown in a more humanistic and horrible way. I still get the feeling Littlefinger is not quite as aware of the 'magic' of the the realm as say, Varys....
Arya is kind of a psycho, though. She might make a mistake soon.

Surprised by no Night King south of the wall but maybe Bran
Spoiler: show
isnt named after Bran the builder, but actually is him, and this time travel stuff is more than just fleshing out the backstory, but he will actually build the wall to stop the Night King
Also, I could not tell if Danny was aware of the Spiders trip to Donre.

But the best part was the sun device from the opening sequence inside the Library of Alexandria building.

Prediction: Jamie kills Cersei next season

We've discussed this in this thread without the spoiler tag before, and I think the general conclusion was that this is a bit too far fetched. Bran has been able to interact with the past during his visions, but these have been accidental for the most part. Suggesting that he could somehow move back in time, take on a corporeal form, and become a legendary figure is a bit of stretch and changes what we think about how his visions work in the show (I don't think it's entirely fair to call his visions "time travel," either).
Also, I could not tell if Danny was aware of the Spiders trip to Donre.
I'm pretty sure there were Martell sails in Dany's fleet; I'll try to grab a screenshot later.

My first reaction to seeing Varys on the ship was "what the...? How can there be 2 of him? One of them must be a faceless man." But this "time passing" theory is probably the better explanation.

Gotcha. I don't really read this thread for fear of real spoilers, not just RMers pondering

At this point, unless someone is discussing rumors/leaks from sets (which there were a lot of this year, but which wasn't discussed in-depth here) there isn't much left to spoil from the books. At this point, every storyline has outpaced the text, so much so that they're culling things from unexplored parts of the books and putting them in other places (such as the "Frey pie" Walder ate last night, which originally was part of a different storyline). So unless a post begins, "I saw some pictures from next season's sets..." or "I heard a casting rumor..." you're probably safe.

Someone please help me out a little here regarding Jon Snow's parents? I'm a little hazy on the flashbacks:
Spoiler: show
Lyana Stark was kidnapped by_______? Whoever that was, we assume fathered Jon? Who employed Arthur Dayne to guard the tower? Is Jon half Stark ~ half Targaryen?

I don't think this is a spoiler anymore but...
Spoiler: show
Rhaegar Targaryen

Spoiler: show
It's her much older brother. He was the prince that would inherit the throne after the Mad King. He was mostly beloved by the people of Westeros until he "kidnapped" Lyanna.

There's a very small contingent of people who theorize that Jon is actually the Mad King's son--that Rhegar kidnapped Lyanna for his father, not for himself. Coupled with a more widely held theory about Tyrion...
Spoiler: show
This would make Dany, John, and Tyrion siblings--a three headed dragon to rule the realm?

Okay, guys, am I overthinking this? Am I the only one who saw clear signs that Sansa is now going to take up Littlefinger on his offer and turn on her Jon?

I feel like they left it somewhat ambiguous.

Dany could be the "mother", Jon the "warrior", Bran the "Smith"...
