I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Yeah. I just started watching it a few weeks ago. It has launched into my favorite thing on TV right now.tragabigzanda wrote:That was last season, right? Season 3 and on are gold. Granted, I haven't watched season one or two in years.tragabigzanda wrote:I felt like it opened up considerably once she and Gary had that blowout in S4. It was pretty rough -- not funny at all, and really sort of painful. And then the spongecake thing at the end was hysterical. And as they've continued to explore deeper parts of these characters throughout S5, it's set the stage for some really biting comedy.
Also, my absolute favorite part of the S5 finale was Mike walking around with a 6-year old Asian kid strapped to his chest.
