PS...I used to hang out here a lot but my old login didn't work and attempts to re-send my login help never came to my inbox.
If your log in is really old (pre-2013) it's gone. The board was reset then and we all had to make new accounts.
I honestly didn't know that.

I still have mine. Many others do, too.

Which one of you is the former Cal Varnsen?

Can we make a rule that your signature has to identify your old board screen name? That would help explain some things for me.
How do you not know this? You clearly made a new account.

Yes - but it's been a few years now. What I mean is about my screen name. I don't remember having to lobby to keep it. Maybe I did? Was it difficult for people to keep their old names?

Seconded. An RM night out in Chicago could be legendary.
If a couple regulars from The Pit walked in on a big RM group, I could picture it going down like those guys who tried to break up the Radiohead listening party recently.

Guys, can we do a meet up the night between the shows at some out of the way watering hole where we can play bubble hockey and hear each other talk? I tried to do the NYC thing and it was goddam bananas.

Correct. I cannot imagine playing bubble hockey if the stakes didn't include democracy or communism prevailing.

We need a Chicago local to find a spot. I have no idea where I was, but for Lollapalooza in 07 my friends and I found a Polish bar, and I threw up in it, outside of it, and on the way from it. After a touch n go el ride the next day, I took a hot porta potty shit in Grant Park and made it just in time to see Amy Winehouse's set. I am not interested in a meet up where the bar is playing Pearl Jam or posters are being auctioned off.

No auctions, Pearl Jam or places you've puked? We'll be in the suburbs.

Places I've puked are not off limits. I wish I knew where that Polish bar was. It was great. I just don't like places where it's butts to nuts, especially with people who have the Alive Stickman tattoo. I love Pearl Jam, but I don't want to gave to try to prove it, you know?
