looking like you're in your early twenties when you're in your thirties is a super power, and lois lane isn't a super hero.

I do remember liking the plane sequence and Routh was fine but Bosworth was probably one of the worst casting decisions ever and while Spacey is a fine actor his Lex was pretty bad.

I agree with all of this. Spacey's Lex had a weird early 90's villain quality that felt quaint and hokey immediately upon impact. However, this movie was more maligned than it earned, Routh was good in the role, and it probably suffered from bad timing. If it was made 3 years from now, people would be saying "thank god, a superman movie that is just a bright, corny superman movie."

The CGI for the plane sequence cost more than Routh got paid for the role.

Just come back from Mexico, and saw the new ultimate edition during the flight.

I loved it. The whole Lex conspiracy is way better explained here...and the Steppenwolf scene was cool. The only thing i didnt care much was Jena Malone´s scenes...they were weird...who is she?

It is weird that he would cast her in such a nothing role, unless he was planning on bringing her back in a larger capacity. She must have about 30 seconds of screen time.
