I also think BFG looks awful. Roald Dahl is a treasure, as is Mark Rylance. And I'm certainly happy that Spielberg had such a great glorious time making thing thing. But it just looks terrible. Like, difficult to even look at. I'm sure it'll be effective. It's Spielberg. He'll tug tug tug at those heartstrings (it's what he does best).

But man it just looks so off.

My kids were watching Shark Tale today. I wasn't in the room watching very much, so I have no idea what the plot is, but the animation is really shitty. Maybe disturbing in the correct word.

Why do all the fish look like Jabba the Hutt with a person's face stuck on him?

I remember that movie. It was the Dreamworks response to Finding Nemo. They really made that main fish look just like Will Smith.

Two different people told me to watch Mad Max 2 today. But I haven't even seen the first one.
