Battle for the top of the NFC is crazy. Would've been interesting to see the 49ers and Steelers in this tourney.
I've had a lot of fun doing this. I hate fantasy football so this definitely helps scratch the "fake football" itch, especially in the offseason.

and yet CJ Spilly only rushed for 1 yard for a 1YPC stat. Maybe I should filter in some Marshawn LynchOrpheus wrote:Bills rushing stats for the last game got me like

PM sent. I probably won't be able to run any past this latest one until maybe Monday night. If anyone would like to be assistant to the lament on an interim basis, please pledge yourself as tribute and may the mods be ever in your favor.Lament wrote:I was worried I was gonna be on the receiving end of another 11 yard per carry performance from Walter Payton. After the Bears beat down the Cowboys in Dallas and the Packers barely snuck by them in Green Bay, I wondered if there was a bigger gap between the three teams than I expected. These last seven games should be intense. Someone isn't gonna be in the NFC Title game...but who?Kaius wrote:That was pretty much the outcome I expected, to be honest.
Either way, I'm glad I didn't pull Rodgers for Favre like I considered after the loss to Buffalo. On to Detroit...
(Can you run Packers @ Lions tonight, Mecca? Packers with Favor Pass, and Lions with West Coast unless Skitch is changing it up for the stretch run)

I'm glad you're digging this. It's been a lot more fun than I expected it to be. I think it'll be fun in the future when we do one with a draft.Orpheus wrote:Battle for the top of the NFC is crazy. Would've been interesting to see the 49ers and Steelers in this tourney.

I think along with the Niners and Steelers, the Giants, Skins, and Raiders would've been teams that could've done some damage in this. If this becomes something we do annually like the baseball one, we should find a way to get them into the next one.

OJ is over 1000 yards. Also, I wish I knew who the punt returner was that took it to the house for me.

Aaron Rodgers drives the Pack to first and ten on the sixteen yard line with 2:53 left and a 24-24 tie only to have Ahman Green fumble the ball away on the ten yard line. Jim Kelly goes 7-9 for 66 yards on the next drive to set up the game winning field goal. Brutal. I guess the Bills own the Pack.

Rodgers is making a strong case for MVP. Ahman Green has 1,155 all-purpose yards and 8 total TDs, but also a back-breaking, red zone fumble in a crucial home game, so...yeah.

I know you edited your post since, Orpheus, but there are input errors on Hutson's and Howton's 20+ yard receptions and Green's and Taylor's 20+ yard runs. My OpenOffice automatically turns "2" into "20" in that column unless I deliberately change it back, and I had left a few 20s in there.

I wonder if Payton is ahead of O.J. in rushing.
