I think Leash absolutely SUCKS.
It's not, I think that's the most popular opinion (to varying degrees) these days.

Which is silly - Leash is great, the lyrics are great, the whole thing is great.

The lyrics are fine. The music is fine. The song is fine.
The first one is an okay line. The second line, if on No Code, would likely be recast as philosophical hoo-hah, and would be criticized like people currently criticize "I'm Open."
True, but it fits right in with most lyrics in Present Tense or Who You Are.

I think the "I am Lost..." line is pretty great now that I think about it.

They should have ditched Crapduster, Bu$hleaguer, Ghost, Get Right and Arc and kept Other Side, Undone and Down. Would have been a much stronger album.

Cropduster is one of the best things this band has ever done. Ghost kicks ass too.

"Cropduster" and "Ghost" are two of the best songs on that album. "Get Right" and "Arc" are very good too.

Cropduster is awesome!!!!

Undone should of been at the end in place of Arc IMHO!!! Would of been a nice counter to help help bush leaguer and 1/2 full.

I remember Ed referred to the lyrics of Undone in the bands newsletter pre- release saying it summed up his feelings at the time.

one of eddie's best. some of leash's lyrics are a bit immature, but it is a song bursting with a playful youthful energy, so it all works. id take this over the temper tantrum of lukin every time

Here is mine: I hate the jam in RVM. Kills all the momentum in the song.
I also hate Leash (especially since he doesn't sing the swear words anymore) I also wouldn't mind not hearing Why Go or Glorified G again. I don't understand the draw of Breath either. Happy 4th.

RVM studio is fine. The jam(if you want to call it that) in all live versions since 2000 that drags on for minutes is pointless.

It went to some interesting places in 2000 (I honestly can't remember any from earlier than that). In recent years it's basically been a big wash of nothing.

agreed about the jam in RVM...sucks the life out completely..seems to kill the point of the song..

Songs like Cropduster and Ghost are meandering, tuneless trainwrecks that are just exercises in musical wankery.

I absolutely love Leash. Always have. I don't mind the lyrics at all, and the music is fucking great. I agree that the "I am lost..." line is fantastic too. Actually, Leash is my favorite song on Vs.

Ten to Riot Act there are only a handful of album tracks I don't genuinely love:

Help help
Ghost
Green Disease
Get Right

Post-Riot Act, there are only a handful of album tracks I do genuinely love:

Come Back
Speed of Sound
The End

Not sure this is an unpopular opinion though...

It's kinda unpopular because of the songs you picked.
