I hate when ppl kill a guy for exercising his free agency rights, I really do. And I hate that I'm doing it right now but I can't help it.

At least Nike wins here and that's what's truly important.

Re: NBA Thread
who is the 4th top 10-12 player? Draymond?? lol!!!!!
They are going to have to make some other moves. Their offense will be insane but as presently constructed they should be easy to score on and will have a hard time rebounding. Call me crazy but I don't think this roster is a lock to win it all quite yet.

Re: NBA Thread
Do you think Duncan or Ginobli can rescind their options? Can every other team who signed a free agent rescind those pointless contracts?
I don't watch or follow this sport; I've been watching Wimbledon and the bottom line is relentless. Also, Stephen A. buried Durant for this.

Yes. Even if that's a little high I think he's the lynchpin to everything they do. I think he's their most important player.veddar10 wrote:who is the 4th top 10-12 player? Draymond?? lol!!!!!

Yup, his defensive versatility and offensive playmaking is the engine that makes the team go.4/5 wrote:Yes. Even if that's a little high I think he's the lynchpin to everything they do. I think he's their most important player.veddar10 wrote:who is the 4th top 10-12 player? Draymond?? lol!!!!!

That playmaking will go out the window this year. His value to this team just went down dramatically.Monkey_Driven wrote:Yup, his defensive versatility and offensive playmaking is the engine that makes the team go.4/5 wrote:Yes. Why is this gutless? Good for Durant.
Players take max money and they dont care about winning? Give yourself the best chance to win and your gutless?
Stop being butthurt about players not doing what you want them to.

Yeah adding another ball dominant player is going to make things interesting for sure. Who is going to be okay with taking a backseat?veddar10 wrote:That playmaking will go out the window this year. You're right, Durant isn't used to playing with a ball dominant player.verb_to_trust wrote:Yeah adding another ball dominant player is going to make things interesting for sure. I understood the vitriol against LeBron because of the way he went about it, but I don't see the hate for Durant. In addition to what you said, the guy built pro sports in OKC, this isn't some long tortured sports city.@SkitchP wrote:Why is this gutless? Good for Durant.

Re: NBA Thread
If someone is having a hard time understanding why it's revolting to watch one of the top players in the league join the squad he just choked a 3-1 lead to then I don't know what to say. Maybe it's easier for fans of a shithole like Detroit to accept this kind of stuff because Detroit, Milwaukee, ect will never be a destination for anything anyway.
