I wouldn't look at it as helping the Warriors. Moving Horford to the 4 and paring hm with a shot blocker on a "now" cheap contract for some garbage picks would be a steal.

People say that now, and the presentation was awful and everybody hated that also, but there was A LOT of "LeBron can't win on his own", "superfriends" stuff and people discounting his 2 rings here basically until he just won in Cleveland.

i agree with all this; it's the same set of feelings a lot of us felt when lebron took his talents to south beach. i think this feels worse because miami wasn't coming off a record breaking season, so this seems like an even "easier" path that KD is taking. it feels even more like a shortcut to glory.
so this sets up the same redemption path for KD that lebron is on. KD will win some rings, then have the same epiphany that he wants to "do it himself" back in OKC or DC or something in a few years.

Yeah its gonna happen anyways so at one year 11 million I'd take the chance and let the bitterness go. I don't know if Bogut would want to go east so if all things are equal GS would probably try to send him somewhere he'd be happy but I'd at least try to get him.
I am pretty curious to see who on GS fills the Love/Bosh role and the Thompson/Battier role and how happy they are especially when things aren't going well. I don't see this signing as a guaranteed dynasty. This could go wrong pretty easily.
