talking to people who are older than and i dont know their name i address them as sir or ma'am

not because i am scared for my life but because i show respect to those who deserve it

an african american saying he "has" to be polite to a police officer to me is insane. you should have to be, you should be.

think about it, are you more likely to get out of a ticket by being nice or being a dick? thats just a ticket, if it escalates more pushing the cops buttons is only going to elevate his aggressiveness more.

im not saying roll over and show him your belly but id say in most cases (not the minnesota one) if you are cordial they will be cordial right back

Where is the police leadership saying these isolated instances are wrong and justice should be served?

Is being a policeman the only profession where there aren't bad guys? And i'm not just talking about being racist, like, controlling your heart rate and not being a fucking animal. I know its a hard job, but we have to do better, and i don't hear that coming from 99% of good cops. If i was a good cop and seeing this shit happening, i would be furious. Leadership on both sides is the issue.
