10th album rumors and speculation

So... I seem to recall U2 doing some kind of "Fan Club members can peak into the studio while we work via Internets" thing with one of their albums in the 00's. Do you think that would have made the wait easier? I kind feel like the silence being used to build hype is counterproductive since everyone in the 10 club is going to buy it and go to as many concerts as they can anyway. Why not let us peak behind the curtain a bit?

Why not? Some of the best parts of the PJ20 movie were the glimpses how the songs go from strumming/vocal improvs to record-worthy tracks. That Brother/Daughter scene on the tour bus for example.

Presumably the background stuff like PR is all being finalised too.
I'm hoping for a September release. Could it be sooner? I wonder.

I assume there was a moratorium on any news while Moonlander was coming out - any concrete news at the moment would obliterate any chance of his album getting press coverage. Now that it is out of the way I assume they will be looking to make an announcement shortly.

I've said the same before. I really think they should film the whole process, at least once, at do a full documentary to accompany an album release someday. That might be the coolest thing they could do (as far as my own fandom is concerned) at this point.
