Me either. Although it's really interesting to see metacrowd reviews. I think it's entirely possible that the "if you dont like it, you hate women" backlash may be making some reviewers give it lukewarm positive reviews to avoid the hassle.

*FWIW, I understand why the backlash exists because there are a LOT of assholes who have gone on and on about how it shouldn't have been remade with women.

Or it could, you know, be a decent little movie.

It's entirely possible as well. But the trailers give me no hope for that.

I've got enough hope for both of us.

It's silly to put a whole lot of stock in reviews, but the one thing everyone seems to agree on is that Kate McKinnon is great.

She seemed the most interesting by a long shot from the trailers.

Her and Chris Hemsworth. Wiig and McCarthy seem fine. Leslie Jones is aggressively unfunny in everything I've seen from this flick.

I've laughed at a few of Jones' bits in the trailers. But I also don't seem to have seen as many trailers as you guys or watched the two I've seen as frequently. This movie had my money when they announced it. Trailers don't mean shit.

True.

Also, i hated McKinnon in the trailers...its all so "meta¨ ut hurts. There seems to be no character at all, just a bunch of ¨cool¨ deliveries.
