I loved the finale but was somewhat disappointed to learn that
Spoiler: show
Catherine's documentary from last episode hadn't actually come out. I think Selina and her team dealing with the public blowback from all of that going public would've been awesome to watch

That was last season, right? I felt it took a big step up then, and has continued through this season.
Yeah. I just started watching it a few weeks ago. It has launched into my favorite thing on TV right now.

Good question. This could easily be the series finale. I love what they pulled with making us think
Spoiler: show
Selina was going back to being Veep

This show is so great. Probably my favorite current TV comedy.

tragabigzanda wrote:I felt like it opened up considerably once she and Gary had that blowout in S4. It was pretty rough -- not funny at all, and really sort of painful. And then the spongecake thing at the end was hysterical. And as they've continued to explore deeper parts of these characters throughout S5, it's set the stage for some really biting comedy.

Also, my absolute favorite part of the S5 finale was Mike walking around with a 6-year old Asian kid strapped to his chest.
Season 3 and on are gold. Granted, I haven't watched season one or two in years.

I've got 3 more episodes, then I'm all caught up. This show is the tits.

And I can actually hear Selena Meyer saying that.
