six hours of obi wan sitting in a cave in the desert? sign me up!

It'd still be better than The prequels.

That said there's a couple of comics running at the moment that are canon that are dealing with obi wan in the tatooine period. He wasn't just sitting in a cave.

I figured the Obi-wan stand alone, at least the first one, would take place before Episode 1

Not a hope of that happening and thank god it won't.

You really think one of the coolest Jedi ever just sat in a cave for like 20 years? No way man.

I have no problem at all believing Obi-Wan chilled on Tatooine for decades. I actually really like that idea.

Do you want a trilogy of movies about it?

Okay, yes.

I am very skeptical about these solo spinoff Star Wars character movies is all.

Yeah, I'm skeptical by default, mostly because Disney is involved. But that level of skepticism can change depending on the filmmakers involved (like I became instantly devoid of skepticism once it was announced that Edwards was making Rogue One).

Just yesterday read the three issues of the 'from the journal of obi wan' comic. Luke finds his journal and it tells the story amazingly well of Ben minding Luke and the family from afar and Owen not letting Ben train him and all the friction between them. It actually would make an amazing film.

Obi-Wan was zen as fuck - he was chilling in his cave getting high the entire time - probably fucking with the sand people now and then for shits and giggles, but that's it!

Its on Saturday. Wonder how they'll do it. London is obviously ahead of the US timewise. Probly be shown at celebration and held off too whatever time the secrets of the force awakens is on abc at whatever time that is. I saw 9pm somewhere but that seems a little late no?
