The Iraq war was a disastetous shitstorm for humanity, no doubt. And for sure ISIL is inspiring to some people, but these are people who were already primed to do the horror that will be demanded of them, and it's silly to simplfy their motivations into cause and effect there. Given that nearly every active war zone on Earth involves some group of Islamic extremists versus someone else, and they aren't all proxy wars between the Saudis and Iran, are you willing to consider that maybe it can't all be dumbed to " Bush's fault"?
