Dont believe that for a second. Reshoots after showing a teaser trailer?
I think that happens often, actually.

Nice try, Ruddo. We all know the new trailer will air on ABC during that one show that has already been advertised.

Yep.

All. The. Fucking. Time.

This is such a non-issue that it's becoming frustrating.

Believe it, champ. This has been discussed a billion times by the cast, crew, director, Disney. everyone. Yes, there were reshoots. There are always reshoots on big budget films. It's fine. Most of the reshoots were composed of fleshing out moments, yes, adding some humor, but mostly just small character bits. The reports of new directors and 40% reshoots have been totally debunked. You can believe it.

The movie is going to be fucking amazing. And it'll be better for its reshoots, not worse or dumbed down.

Looks like there's no crawl. I'm glad now there won't be. It looks awesome but doesn't feel like Star Wars. A crawl would be weird.

Weird that it didn't air on ABC a few nights ago either. Or did it? No way it did, we'd have seen it by now.

I don't see how anyone could possibly pretend to know whether this is a case of standard reshoots or something worse. Any time a project with this kind of profile needs massive rework, they call it 'routine reshoots' and you don't find out until years later what a clusterfuck it really was. And any time a project of this side needs routine reshoots, unsubstantiated rumors fly about disaster.

We basically have no information at all. Any skepticism and/or confidence is pure opinion, and groundless.

McP is right. But I'll chose to believe the director, Kathleen Kennedy, and most importantly the cast who have said time and time the reshoots were always intended and it turned out they had enough money to do even more extensive reshoots as a way to improve the film and make it the best possible movie it could be and not because Disney got panicky about tone.

Most, I believe these actors, like Mads especially, because they haven't been able to keep their mouths shut about major and minor spoilers/plot points. It stands to reason they would have been more up front and/or at least more "actor-speak-y" about all of it if there was something to worry about.

But, yes, it's all opinion and conjecture at this point. And none of it will matter when the film comes out and destroys everyone because it's the best Star Wars film to date.
