Guys, I can't overstate how excited I am for this movie. This looks incredible.
Did you watch the version of the featurette that briefly includes Mads? I love that guy so much.

I watched King Arthur the other day and Mads just runs circles around everyone else. And it's a good cast! What an actor that guy is.

LV, is it just me or can you see just from a few of the movie shots that this has the cinematography tone of Gareth? There were some key scenes that made me kind of nod my head like "yep, that's him".

Oh of course. He's far too strong of a visualist for it to not come through.

LV. did you watch the Gareth Edwards interview I posted a few pages back?

After that and his panel about rogue one I actually like him. He's not doing this for money or his resume. He's a genuine Star Wars fan. That's encouraging.

Loved his story about Lucas filming the set and winding him up:)

I don't understand why they won't just fucking release it. They pulled this same shit with the teaser like two years ago.

Nobody understands it. At all. Especially in a summer season totally bereft of a big buzz blockbuster. Ghostbusters was grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons.

There's not been a summer so barren of big films in living memory. They really missed an opportunity to capitalise on that and get in front of it all.

Gonna wait till we have a good quality version before commenting. Didn't give me the feels like I'd hoped so far

Are they nervous about it?

It is a hard sell n Star Wars terms. No Jedi no established hero characters apart from Vader. Fanbois like me won't care but the general public would.

Easily could be a marketing rethink up top. They definitely dropped the ball at celebration on many levels.
